Q. I am thinking about buying an iPad or something similar. I read in your newsletter that GoToMyPC is available for the iPad. All my business information is on my desktop computer. Will GoToMyPC's app let access this information? Could I use it to visit websites and send email? What could the tablet do without GoToMyPC? Will GoToMyPC work on other tab lets? I have had several clients use the GoToMeeting software on the iPad to join my Monday evening Town Hall sessions. It works well with the exception of the sound. The small microphone and speaker of the iPad leave a lot to be desired. LogMeIn Ignition is a competitor and does a good job as well. Overall, I’ve found Citrix’s GoToMeeting to be very secure and I highly recommend them. Full Disclosure: They have sponsored my Town Hall sessions for the last 2 years allowing me to continue to offer them for free so I’m a little biased.
